Skill level: Choreography is aimed towards beyond-beginner (or novice competitor-level) dancers. Attendees should have a strong grasp of basics and common variations.

Dancers rotate during the class
Class is great for:
Trying out WCS choreography for the first time
Trying out WCS choreography in one's secondary role
Finding a WCS routine partner
Preparing for a bigger WCS routine thing (Rising Star, ProAm, Choreo Camp, routintensive, etc)
Lan VoBa is a west coast swing dancer based in the Pacific Northwest. She has been dancing WCS for almost 10 years and loves the artistic expression and partnership that this dance offers. These days she runs a peer practice group for intermediate and advanced competitive dancers, a WCS choreography class called “Choreolite”, teaches WCS at Salsa Con Todo, and volunteers with the Seattle Swing Dance Club as one of their beginner lesson instructors. She is passionate about bringing in new dancers, rooting for her peers, and supporting local professionals and organizers.
We can't wait to see what Lan has instore for us!
Lan will also be available for private lessons before the workshop as well as during the dance later that evening. Please contact us to schedule a lesson.
(After the workshop grab some dinner and come back for the dance with DJ JAmes, 8-11 pm. Separate admission at the door, $15.00)
