Learn to Dance Together!

Your First Dance

So your big day is coming up... You're either totally excited about gliding around the dance floor with your one-and-only...

...or you're dreading the thought of your two left feet in too-new shoes having to keep time to music with two more left feet while everyone in the room is staring directly at you!

Just kidding! Either way everyone's going to think you're great - but again, either way, we can help.

We've put together hundreds of wedding dances. Whether you just need help connecting together in something simple and classy or you want to perform a choreographed, show-stopping routine that is the highlight of the reception, we can help to make that moment as beautiful and stress-free as it should be.

There are a number of ways you can approach your first dance:

  • You have a song that is THE song. - Private lessons are the way to go. Most couples at this point choose our 4 private lesson package.
  • You have a song and some time. - Start with the introductory group classes so that you can pick up a few basics in a few dances (you'll use these in your first dance as well as the rest of the reception and, perhaps, even the honeymoon!) Then take a few private lessons where we'll polish things up and, if you wish, spice it up a bit with a fancy entrance, an exit, some flirtatious spins or perhaps a dramatic dip.
  • You don't have a song and no time - talk to us ASAP.
  • You don't have a song but have some time- Start with the introductory group classes. This way you'll discover which dance you like the best and we can then recommend a song for you that is that dance.

We have also helped many brides, grooms and parents prepare for their father/daughter and mother/son dances. We've even worked with entire bridal parties on basic dance skills and even one complete show number! Basically, if you can dream it, we can help you dance it!
